Thank you everyone who made it out despite the rain in the morning and made the show possible. Thank you to all the car clubs, families, Sundance Saloon, City of Waukegan, Waukegan Fire Department and all the sponsors. We hope to make next year even better. 2010 - May
 N.I.L.A. the Northern Illinois Lowrider Association held it's 5th Annual "Cinco de Mayo" Lowrider Event. Unfortunately the city of Waukegan pulled the permit at the last minute causing chaos and confusion. After many of the performing artists, vendors, and sponsors were notified of the cancellation, a few of the would be attendees found each other at Zion State Beach. Once together, everyone enjoyed each others company, took a look at some of the vehicles that were out "cruizin" and left early.
The weather didn't help the day much either raining on and off and peaking at a high of what felt like sweater weather at best.
